Ireland |
Christianity is the largest religion in the Republic of Ireland based on baptisms. Irish Christianity is dominated by the Roman Catholic Church which has 84.2% of the population as followers. Most churches are organised on an all-Ireland basis which includes both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
In recent years, more of the Irish people have turned their backs on religion. However having been dominated by Roman Catholicism, they do not really know what it means to have a relationship with Yahuah. So although they are secularised in this way, they are open to a move of Yahuah. Ireland has also in recent years become a host destination for more and more immigrants and this is seeing an increase of other religious groups coming to their nation.
This country is ripe for a revival, because the vacuum left by the failures of Roman Cathoslicism will most likely be filled either by secular discontent or by a revival of the Gospel sent by Yah. Find out more in the video below.
